AMA Patrols and Terry Fox

AMA School Safety Patrollers

AMA takes the safety of our children, pedestrians and motorists very seriously, which is why we rely on the dedication and support of families and community partners such as school boards, teachers, provincial and municipal government, law enforcement agencies, transportation services and the business community.

We have always been proud to have an amazing group of student volunteers as our school safety patrollers. They are dedicated and committed to arriving at school early, helping out at the end of the day and ensuring that they work together as a team to make our school community a safe place.

This year we are inviting all GRADE 5 students to join our school safety patrollers team.  Grade 5 students will be bringing home a "Patrol Interest Form" which they are required to complete and return to the school office by Friday September 12th in order to be considered for a place on our patroller team

Terry Fox Run

RJ Hawkey will be holding our annual Terry Fox Run the morning of Friday, September 19th at 10:10am. The run will be done by 11:25am for recess.

Morning Kindergarten students will complete their run on Thursday, September 18th in the soccer fields.

We are looking for parent volunteers to help make this event a success! Volunteers must have a current Criminal Record Check (CRC) and completed annual forms from the office. If you are able to volunteer, please contact Anne-Marie Czember at aczember@rockyview.ab.ca

If you would like to contribute to Cancer Research and support our school’s fundraising goal of $500, please donate using this link: https://schools.terryfox.ca/97144

Land Acknowledgment

Rocky View Schools would like to acknowledge the land and recognize all the Indigenous Peoples whose footprints have marked these lands from time immemorial. Together, we can learn and honour the Ways of Knowing of Indigenous Peoples for all future generations.
