Airdrie Christian Program (ACP) is a inter-denominational faith-based program dedicated to integrate faith and learning. The Alberta education program of studies is taught as mandated and Christianity is woven into the curriculum where appropriate including have each class engage in daily devotions. ACP is committed to developing the individual gifts and abilities of each student while building and deepening their Christian faith.
The ACP teaching staff do some team planning with the community program teaching staff which results in mixed groupings for reading buddies, Physical Education classes or class projects. The specialist teachers in our school support all students at R.J. Hawkey. Those teachers may include our music, physical education, literacy and learning support teachers.
