Equine Assisted Learning
Please see below the information that was passed to us regarding Equine Assisted Learning. This is NOT a Rocky View sponsored event and is completely up to you to sign up.
ROARR will be running sets of 6-week programs for children and youth. EAL (Equine Assisted Learning) is an experiential life skills program that focuses on the empowerment of children and youth through the development of communication, leadership and teamwork skills that help build confidence and self-esteem.
ROARR would like to extend this invitation to families in the Rocky View School Division.
ROARR keeps our programming free for our participants in an effort to break down financial barriers for families that may not otherwise have access to programming.
These programs will run after school and on weekends. There will be no cost to families who have been identified by teaching professionals as students who may benefit from the program.
Please reach out directly to ROARR and let them know that you were recommended to the program by Helen Clark at RJ Elementary.
You can visit the ROARR website for further information about their programs and for testimonial videos.
