Wow, we can’t believe it is the beginning of March already! Time has flown by this year. Everyone enjoyed a little break from routine in February and we were equally happy to get back to our school structures this week. Students have been enjoying our badminton unit in gym and some have been out snowshoeing this week as well! The weather has been a little up and down though, cooler in the morning and then warming by the afternoon. As a result our lost and found drawers have been accumulating a lot of items again. If your child is missing their hat or maybe one mitten remind them to take a look in the lost and found, there is a good chance they just might find what they are looking for. Enjoy a wonderful weekend and see you next week! Warmly, Mrs. Lisa Guy - Assistant Principal Mrs. Jackie Root - Principal |

| PLEASE HELP!We know many families are in a rush in the morning, and using the bus lane seems like an easy and quick way to drop off your child(ren) for school, BUT the bus lane is not to be used by parents. Please use the drop-off zone in front of the crosswalk to drop off students. This week, again, we nearly had an accident with a car pulling out between buses after using the bus zone to drop off students. Vehicles in the bus lane also create a backup of traffic along Big Hill Springs Drive, as they need to wait for cars to leave before they can pull in to drop off students. We are also asking for your understanding and cooperation with our staff, who supervise the morning bus zone. We thank you in advance for not using foul or abusive language toward them as they try to keep the bus lane clear of vehicles. |

Grade 4 parents are reminded to complete the Alberta Education survey they received in the mail by the March 17th deadline. Each year, Alberta Education sends a survey to parents with students in grades 4, 7 and 10 to gather feedback on behalf of schools and school authorities to understand what works well and what needs improvement. Parents or guardians will receive a survey package by mail and can complete the survey on paper or online using the access code provided in the information package. Parents or guardians with more than one student in an eligible grade will receive a separate survey invitation package for each child. Only parents or guardians of students in grades 4, 7, and 10 will receive a survey package. The survey is available in English, French, Punjabi, Cree, Korean, Denesuł̨in̨e,́Tagalog, Chinese (Traditional or Simplified), Arabic, Spanish or Urdu. If you would prefer to complete the survey in a language other than English or French, please contact Mrs. Root at the school. |

| Help up spread the word!Advanced registration for students not currently enrolled in the ACP is open. We strongly desire to continue to grow the ACP and need your help spreading the word. We are asking our ACP families to share with others looking for a Christian education that we are now accepting registrations. We have already received a whole class of Kindergarten registrations, and we would love to be able to have 2 ACP Kindergarten classes. Still, we need more registrations to make this happen. If anyone you know is interested in the ACP and they have any questions, please have them call the office, as we would love to speak with them. |
