Welcome to 1W!

My name is Shelley Worden and I'm incredibly excited to be a part of your child's learning for the 2017/18 school year! I've spent quite a bit of time at RJ Hawkey and I'm happy to be part of the team this year. A little about me: I graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in European History. I also have a Bachelor of Education degree, specializing in Elementary English Language Arts from the University of Calgary. In my free time I love to travel and explore new places. I spent my summer traveling through SE Asia and getting to know the incredible cultures throughout Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. I've been to over 10 countries and I can't wait to see more!
