Grade 4 - Ms Sell

Hello and welcome to my class! I’m thrilled to be a part of the team this year at R.J. Hawkeye ACP and am looking forward to getting to know my students. I have been teaching for one and a half years. I taught for half a year in a 4/5/6 split grade classroom.  Last year I taught Grade 1 in the morning and Grade 5/6 in the afternoon at a school in Grande Cache. I am enjoying teaching immensely and learning new ways to empower students.

I graduated university with a psychology and neuroscience B.Sc. I worked at a community service position in England for a year working with individuals with high risks. I came back to Canada and received a degree in English Languages Arts Education with an Art Education minor.

I grew up east of Airdrie. I have a passion for reading, hiking, outdoor activities, and travelling. I have lived in various countries and cities around the world and am always looking to see where I’ll be going next.

I look forward to supporting your child this year. My goal for this year is to have students feel safe, valued, and seen in the classroom. I will be sending home monthly newsletters to update parents on what is happening.
